Following the unexpected passing of her husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss, celebrities are expressing their love and support for Allison Holker Boss.
Allison told PEOPLE on Wednesday that “it is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce my husband Stephen has left us” after The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ committed suicide on Tuesday. (The news of the So You Think Can Dance runner-death up’s was first reported by TMZ.)
In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, Allison, 34, said of Stephen, “Stephen brightened up every room he went into.” “Above all things, he treasured his family, friends, and community. He believed that the best way to lead was to lead with love and light. He served as the foundation of our family, was the best husband and father, and served as an example to his followers.”
She went on, “It would be an understatement to say he left a legacy, and his beneficial influence will endure. There won’t be a day that goes by that we don’t remember him, I’m positive of that. During this trying moment for myself and especially for our three kids, we kindly request your privacy.”
Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I’ll always save the last dance for you, Allison said as she concluded her remarks.
Several celebrities posted meaningful and encouraging comments for Allison on the couple’s most recent Instagram post, which was a video of them dancing together just two days before, as she grieved the loss.
The news left Denise Richards feeling “very saddened,” she wrote.
Richards said, “I’d frequently show my husband your films.” “You two were evidently in love and had a close bond. What you are experiencing, I can’t even begin to fathom. We send our sincere sympathies to you and your family.”
I adore you so much, Allison.” Ashley Graham penned a piece, and Olivia Munn added, “Oh my God… My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.”

Boss gained notoriety through participating in various competitive programs, the most well-known of which was So You Think You Can Dance. He placed second at the end of season 4 in 2008 and later made an All-Star appearance. When the show resumed in 2022, he then was a judge.
He then attracted additional notice while working as a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he later rose to co-executive producer status in 2020, just before the show’s May finale.
Allison, their children Zaia, 3, Maddox, 6, and Weslie, 14, are left to care for Boss.
