After his untimely passing, Allison Holker, Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ wife, referred to him as their family’s “anchor” in a statement.
Four days before his death, on Saturday, the two had just celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary. They had met in 2010 when they performed together as all-stars on So You Think You Can Dance season 7.
We performed a dance together at the So You Think You Can Dance season wrap party, and we have been dating ever since, Stephen previously told People.
The two met four years ago at a gathering for a mutual acquaintance, but their love story truly began before that. They were meant to be together.
They later got married in a ceremony in Paso Robles, California, in 2013, and on the occasion of their wedding anniversary, they each uploaded photos from the event on their individual Instagram accounts.
Since their marriage, they have raised three children together. Before getting married, Allison already had daughter Weslie Fowler, 14, and with tWitch, she also had Zaia, 3, and Maddox, 6.
The pair, who were adored on numerous social media sites for their insights into family life and shared dances together, indicated they could try to have another baby just weeks before his passing.
The mother of three said: “I think we would love to start trying for another one” on The Jennifer Hudson Show, to which her husband responded: “We do. I adore the infants, I adore them. It’s a dialogue that never ends.
The DJ and dancer had declared parenthood to be his “favorite earthly duty” on Father’s Day in 2022.
His passing was initially announced on Wednesday morning, and Allison’s statement was shared by People. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into,” she remarked. Above all else, he treasured his family, friends, and community. He believed that the best way to lead was to lead with love and light. He served as the foundation of our family, was the best husband and father, and served as an example to his followers.
“To say he left a legacy is an understatement, and his beneficial influence will endure. There won’t be a day that goes by that we don’t remember him, I’m positive of that. In this trying time for myself and especially for our three kids, we ask for privacy.
