Allison Holker, Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ wife, described him as their family’s “foundation” in a statement following his tragic death.

Four days before his death, the two celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Saturday. They first met in 2010 when they appeared as all-stars on Season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance.

“We met at the So You Think You Can Dance season wrap party and have been dating ever since,” Stephen previously told People.

The two met four years ago at a party for a mutual acquaintance, but their love story began much earlier. They were intended to be together. They later married in a ceremony in Paso Robles, California, in 2013, and on their wedding anniversary, they each published images from the event on their own Instagram profiles.

They have raised three children together since their marriage. Allison already had a 14-year-old daughter, Weslie Fowler, with tWitch, as well as Zaia, 3, and Maddox, 6.

Just weeks before his death, the couple, who were adored on several social media sites for their insights into family life and shared dances, indicated they could try for another baby.

The mother of three said: “I think we would love to start trying for another one” on The Jennifer Hudson Show, to which her husband responded: “We do. I love the babies, I absolutely love them. It’s a discussion that never ends.”

The DJ and dancer had declared fatherhood to be his “favorite earthly job” on Father’s Day in 2022.

His death was first reported on Wednesday morning, and Allison’s statement was relayed by People. “Stephen lit up every room he entered,” she said. “Above all things, he treasured his family, friends, and community. He believed that leading with love and light was the greatest way to go. He was the rock of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his followers.”

“To say he left a legacy is an understatement, and his positive influence will go on. There won’t be a day that goes by that we don’t remember him, I’m confident of that. We need privacy during this difficult time for myself and our three children.”
