The sudden and tragic passing of Rick Harrison’s son, Adam, has left their family devastated and shocked. The star of Pawn Shop recently posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, expressing his love for Adam. The 39-year-old died of an overdose in Las Vegas, leaving behind a heartbreaking loss.
In a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a representative of the family confirmed Adam’s death and asked for privacy during this difficult time. Following the devastating news, Rick Harrison spoke to Fox News Digital and revealed that Adam’s cause of death was fentanyl overdose. He expressed his concern about the fentanyl crisis in the country and stressed the need for urgent actions to address the issue.
The news of Adam’s passing has received an outpouring of support and condolences from fans and celebrity friends, including Donald Trump Jr. who expressed his sympathy. Adam’s brother, Corey Harrison, also paid tribute on Instagram, sharing a nostalgic baby photo of the two of them in a bath.
Adam was Rick Harrison’s second child from his previous marriage. Although he was not as involved in running the Gold & Silver Pawn shop or appearing on the show, it is known that Adam worked with his father.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have reported a significant increase in overdose deaths, including those involving synthetic opioids, particularly fentanyl. This crisis calls for greater awareness and action to combat the flow of fentanyl into the country. Even a small amount of fentanyl, less than a grain of salt, can be lethal.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Harrison family during this challenging time. Rest in peace, Adam. Please share this article with your loved ones to raise awareness about the fentanyl crisis.
