A heartbreaking accident in Ogden Canyon on Saturday has left the community in shock as it mourns the loss of Richard David Hendrickson, CEO of Lifetime Products, and his 16-year-old daughter Sally.
The Utah Highway Patrol reported that a tragic incident occurred when a bulldozer being towed by a truck broke loose and fell onto their pickup truck, instantly taking their lives.
Richard Hendrickson was more than just a company leader; he was a man of many talents, renowned for his mechanical aptitude and his remarkable ability to connect with people. The news of his passing has deeply saddened not only the business world but also his community. Utah Governor Spencer Cox, a close friend of Hendrickson, expressed his condolences, stating, “I am grieving the loss of my friend and leader… my thoughts and prayers are with the family.”

Richard Hendrickson was also the stake president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his absence will be deeply felt by the congregation.
