A young Australian dad named Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, who is 24 years old, ventured into the world of tattoos with a passion. Starting from a young age, he covered his body with more than 200 tattoos and even engaged in various surgeries to transform his appearance.

Bramble’s journey began at just 11 when he embarked on his first body modification, stretching his ears. Over time, this curiosity evolved into more dramatic changes, including splitting his tongue and removing his belly button.

For many, having a tattoo is a meaningful way to express individuality and character. However, Bramble began to realize that his extensive modifications had gone beyond what he intended. As he started reflecting on his choices, his body was already a canvas of intricate designs.

Altogether, his investments in body art and alterations amounted to about AUD $60,000, equivalent to roughly USD $39,000.

During a candid appearance on the LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, Bramble candidly expressed, “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos. It’s more about wanting to be perceived differently rather than sheer regret.”

He elaborated on the social repercussions he faced, especially the stares he gets from people, which often come with judgmental vibes, notably when he’s with his young daughter.

“Your face is an essential part of how the world sees you. While not everyone will face challenges because of how they look, it can still lead to unwanted attention, especially for my daughter. I regret going so extreme with my face,” he shared.

He detailed his journey towards change, explaining, “I’ve been undergoing laser surgery for almost 12 months, tackling small areas at a time. I’ve probably gone through full treatments on my face around six or seven times so far.”

“I embarked on this path because of the anxiety the tattoos caused,” he continued. “Mental health is complex, but I suspect much of my anxiety came from having my face so heavily tattooed.

While I appreciate my look now, I’m also looking forward to gradually lessening my facial tattoos over the next two years. I’m clearing the canvas for a new chapter.”

The journey of changing his appearance not only highlights his resilience but also his dedication to creating a better future for him and his daughter. It’s a testament to adapting and allowing oneself the chance to change, even after major life decisions.
