Jeff Beck, the guitarist for The Yardbirds, passed away not long ago, and the entire music community is mourning his passing.

The deceased musician’s family stated on Wednesday that bacterial meningitis was the reason for the musician’s death the day before. The announcement was made public on Wednesday. He was 78.

His family issued a statement saying, “On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound grief that we communicate the news of Jeff Beck’s passing,” according to the statement. “Following an unexpected battle with bacterial meningitis, he succumbed to his illness and went away yesterday without experiencing any discomfort or agony,” his family stated. As they struggle to come to terms with their loved one’s passing, his family requests privacy during this difficult time.

The news of Beck’s death prompted many of his old friends and business colleagues, including Jimmy Page, his former Yardbirds bandmate, to share their memories of him with the public. After joining the English rock band as Page’s replacement in 1965, he eventually became the band’s guitarist for Eric Clapton the following year.

“The Warrior of the Six Strings is no longer here to be venerated for the spell he could cast over the emotions of ordinary people. This was something he was very good at. Jeff’s channeling powers allow him to pull music from other dimensions. His method is unique. It appears that he has a limitless capacity for creativity. Jeff, I’m sure I speak for all your innumerable other fans when I say I’ll miss you terribly. May you finally find the peace you so richly deserve, Jeff Beck.” “Instagram was updated with a new post by Page.

It was Mick Jagger’s first solo album, She’s the Boss, released in 1985. Beck was asked to play lead guitar on the album. In response to Beck’s death, Jagger said on Twitter, “we have lost a brilliant man and one of the best guitar players in the world.”
