Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler’s husband, was found dead at their Nashville home.
Kyle Jacobs’ death has been formally confirmed by authorities, who claim they were summoned to a Nashville house around 1:21 p.m. local time on Friday.
The Nashville Police Department acknowledged the development in a statement, adding that the Department of Emergency Communications had taken the call.
The Nashville Fire Department arrived at the site with the cops. Jacobs was found dead at the location “after an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
As of press time, officials are investigating his death as a possible suicide.
Pickler, a former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, claimed she awoke but couldn’t find Jacobs. When she and her assistant realized a room inside the house was locked, they quickly called the police.
Jacobs was a well-known music producer before his death. In 2014, he received an Academy of Country Music Award for his work as a producer on Lee Brice’s tune “I Drive Your Truck.”
He worked with several musicians before his death, including Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, Garth Brooks, and Kelly Clarkson.
What caused Jacobs’ apparent suicide remains a mystery.
Jacobs could still celebrate his most recent professional success with an Instagram post before passing suddenly. The day before his claimed death, he uploaded a photo of Lee Brice’s “Hey World” platinum certification.
“Platinum?! Sweeet!!! A terrific bunch of people with incredible talent put this together… I’m overjoyed to have made a small contribution… I’m thankful to Jesus!” He wrote the caption for the post.
On Instagram, he constantly updates his musical collaborations. In 2021, his excitement for writing “great music with individuals with amazing hearts in beautiful places” was emphasized.
Jacobs is well-known for his role alongside Pickler in the television documentary “I Love Kellie Pickler” and his engagement in the music industry. The 2015 CMT movie helped the network reach strong ratings during its three seasons.
He and Pickler were married in a private ceremony on January 1, 2011. There has yet to be a child welcomed there.
Following his death, CMT issued a statement offering condolences to the deceased man’s family.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Kellie Pickler and the rest of the Jacobs family,” it said on Twitter.
