Lainey Wilson claims it wasn’t technically stealing. Perhaps the country singer and new Yellowstone cast member would rather term it perpetual borrowing.
Wilson paused to elucidate during a rapid-fire round of pressing Yellowstone questions (which will be available on ToC’s YouTube page soon). “I haven’t told anyone,” she begins, speaking to Taste of Country Nights.

The “Heart Like a Truck” singer will play Abby on Yellowstone Season 5, and she’s been tight-lipped about her role and time on set, other than to say she’ll perform a song.
She’s also become friends with actor Kelly Reilly, according to reports (Beth Dutton). Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton) attended the CMT Artist of the Year ceremony earlier this month to accept her Breakthrough Artist of the Year award.
“I walked up on set one day, and I was like, ‘I don’t have deodorant on,’” Wilson says. “I went inside the bunkhouse, and I used somebody’s razor and deodorant — things that had probably been sitting there since Season 1.”
That may not seem like much, but in the Yellowstone universe, doing significantly worse will get you a train ticket. Wilson, whose Bell Bottom Country record was released on October 28, has returned safely to Nashville.
