Rebel Wilson, the actress and producer, is living up to her nickname, claiming she once earned a 30-day ban from the “Happiest Place on Earth,” Disneyland.
“I shot a photo in a secret bathroom within Disneyland,” the self-proclaimed Disney enthusiast and “Pitch Perfect” star confessed in a recent interview.
Although Wilson provided no other information, internet sleuths believe the bathroom is most likely in the ultra-exclusive, members-only Club 33. The secret club is located in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square and contains a fine dining restaurant and lounge exclusively accessible to existing members and their visitors.
The premium experience is shrouded in mystery and is said to have a wait list of up to ten years, with membership costing up to $50,000 for the introduction. The club’s newer Walt Disney World location is the only information Disney openly provides about it.
While Disney takes extraordinary measures to conceal its members’ identities and privacy, Wilson revealed that she is a member at the original Disneyland facility (which may have been another giveaway to fans of the photo’s location).
Wilson’s fandom of the House of Mouse is similar to the rest of us, but she was not treated like a regular day visitor after taking the photos, as the park asked her when the “ban” would work best with her schedule.
This follows her recent Disneyland engagement to Ramona Agruma, which Wilson dubbed “the greatest proposal place on Earth” on Instagram.
