Shaquille O’Neal raises eyebrows with a troubling hospital photo, as supporters wish him a swift recovery.

Shaquille O’Neal has worried his followers after uploading a photo of himself sleeping in a hospital bed.

The NBA legend, 51, posted the concerning photograph late 19th March night.

He wore a blood pressure monitor on his right arm and a drip in his left hand.

What prompted Shaq to visit the hospital is unclear, but supporters wished him well on social media.

Shaq stated: “I’m always rooting for @TurnerSportsEJ and @Candace Parker because I miss you guys.

One fan responded: “Big fella, get well soon!! Prayers are being offered right now.”

“I hope you’re all right, Big Man,” said another.

A third was added: “Alright, for those concerned about Shaq, he is getting a new hip. Rest and get well, huge dude.”

Shaq is a four-time NBA champion and one of the game’s most imposing centers.

After his playing days were finished, he became an analyst and is a fan favorite on TNT’s NBA coverage.

The 7-foot-1-inch icon has been working on losing weight and showed off his progress to followers late last year.

And he has now dropped from 401 pounds to 365 pounds.

O’Neal explained on Page Six how he got back into shape when the timber “came off.”

He stated: “My pal called to tell me, ‘You’re obese.’

“She gave me his name, and he did blood work for me.

“‘You can do this, you can’t do that, [eat] more veggies, [your] iron’s low,’ he was saying.

“It plummeted as soon as I started adjusting those specific things.

“It’s all about eating properly.”

Throughout his playing career, he was a four-time NBA champion.
