Emma Hemming-Willis and Bruce Willis are celebrating the 11th birthday of their daughter Mabel Ray.
On Instagram, mom-of-two Emma uploaded a flurry of photographs and inspirational family videos to commemorate her daughter’s special day, including some unseen photos of Bruce, 67, holding his daughter despite his poor health.
“Happy 11th birthday, Mabel Ray! Your energy is contagious, and your smile and kindness can light up a room. Seeing how much you love and care for your family and friends is inspiring.”
“Keep shining, my darling, and never forget to #liveitup,” Emma said in the post.
“Happy birthday, little woman. Enjoy every minute of your life ahead,” one fan said, while another added, “Your family is in my thoughts and prayers today and every day.”
Mabel’s birthday comes only days after the Willis family revealed that Bruce had been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia, a degenerative brain disorder “impacting his cognitive ability.”
In February 2023, Emma and Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore and his adult daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah released an update, noting that “Bruce’s illness has progressed.”
“Unfortunately, communication difficulties are only one indication of Bruce’s disease. While this is terrible, having a precise diagnosis is a comfort, “They said.
Emma shared with followers on her wedding anniversary earlier this year: “It made me think about how difficult these “special events” can be for carers.
“Whereas our person would normally recognize the occurrence, their evolving minds just cannot, and that is what it is.”
Relatives and friends have rallied around the Die Hard actor as he fights the sickness. Bruce’s family, which includes five lovely children, has banded together in support at this trying time.
