The 25-year-old woman realized her stomach was enlarged and she felt nauseated. Because her symptoms persisted, she became concerned that she was pregnant and went to the drugstore to get a pregnancy test. She took the pregnancy test and discovered she was not pregnant.
Louise took another pregnancy test a month later to be sure of the outcome, but it also came up negative. The woman then went to the doctor, terrified since the symptoms remained.

The physicians assured her that it was nothing dangerous, but they did not rule out the possibility of a pregnancy. Louise returned to the hospital after another 5 tests for some specialized exams.
The results astounded her: the young woman learned she had a soccer-ball-sized tumor on her right ovary.

Fortunately, the tumor was removed before it spread during a four-hour operation.
