Fans of Reba McEntire are expressing their sympathy after the singer shared some extremely sad news on Instagram.
The Big Sky actress recently appeared in a role as her career flourishes. Reba’s career continues to be one of the most outstanding in country music thanks to her famous performance at this year’s CMA Awards, a Grammy nomination, and a leading role in an ABC drama series.
Despite the recent festivities, the singer and her partner Rex Linn are grieving the loss of a cherished family member.
The singer of “The Heart Won’t Lie” and Rex posted a sorrowful message on Instagram informing followers that her “Angel delivered” dog named Riddler had passed away.
The 67-year-old posted many black and white images to remember her cherished French bulldog with the message, “If we’re really lucky, an Angel will place something in our laps that will affect us for a lifetime…and we got really lucky.”
“Only seven years old, lymphoma claimed his life less than three weeks after diagnosis,” she continued. In the show ring, he was a GRAND CHAMPION, but he was even greater in real life. He affected everyone he encountered. The Best, he was a terrific companion to ride the river with.”
Fans quickly flocked to the singer’s comment section after the melancholy post to express their sorrow with words like:
“Sorry to hear of your loss. I’m sure Riddler was aware of how much he was adored. I’m sending my love to you. RIP, Riddler.”
“I’m sorry, guys. I’m sending you a ton of love. Your children are family. We’re sorry for your loss.”
“You loved him well, and he loved you back, said longtime friend and fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood in her message of congratulations. We all aspire to have that. Love you, Riddler.”
We’re offering Reba and Rex our sincere condolences.
