The breakthrough part he played on the soap opera “All My Children” made actor Jeffrey Carlson famous. He first joined the cast of the program in 2006, playing a character named Zarf, a male rock star. Later, his character came out as transgender and was given the name Zoe for the duration of his stay on the show.
In addition to his work on “All My Children,” Carlson has appeared in a number of other movies and TV shows, such as 2005’s “Hitch” and 2007’s “The Killing Floor.”
Sadly, a Carlson spokesman has confirmed the tragic news that the actor has passed away at the age of 48. His official cause of death won’t be established for four to six weeks, his family said in a statement, and no cause of death has been disclosed as of yet.
Carlson’s sister, Elizabeth Carlson Gingras, also released a statement regarding her brother’s passing, confirming that he passed away on July 6, 2023. She gave the following explanation: “My handsome, brilliant, and EXTREMELY talented brother Jeffrey Carlson has gone to be with our brother Gregory Carlson in heaven.”
“I don’t understand why this has happened,” she continued. “What I do know is that I will always treasure our laughs and our intense love for one another. It’s difficult to put into words how unique he was because of the impact he has had on so many individuals. I want to say so much, but my heart isn’t in the right place to give Jeffrey the words he needs. My lovely brother, you have my undying affection. 6/23/1975-7/06/2023.”
