Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell’s cancer treatment has begun.

The 28-year-old, Mama June Shannon’s eldest daughter, just endured her first round of chemotherapy with her youngest daughter, Kylee Madison, by her side. A family member says her hair has since “come out in pieces.”

According to the site, Anna has maintained a cheerful attitude in the face of the circumstances and is looking for a wig to cover up her hair loss while focusing on her health and recovery.

The mother of two was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer in January. Anna’s cancer was diagnosed in her liver, kidney, and lung after a battery of tests after she complained of stomach problems.

Anna, who appeared in TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras and later, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo with her mother, 43, and sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, got her first round of chemotherapy last month.

Alana spoke up about her sister after the diagnosis was made public on Thursday.

Yes, I’m famous, but normal s—- happens to my family and me, and you need to accept that as soon as possible, “wrote the 17-year-old in an Instagram Story, accompanied by a screenshot of a TMZ article that broke the news.
