Barron Trump has not long left at his Oxbridge Academy, from where he will graduate later this year. Then, new adventures will await the son of former President Trump, though, where he will continue his studies is yet to be decided.
Still, living in Florida has been lovely for the 17-year-old, as he, his father, and his mother, Melania Trump, have a haven at their Mar-a-Lago estate. For Christmas, the entire Trump family stayed at their home, but sadly, Melania Trump had to leave to take care of her now-late mother.
Still, a Christmas card was taken, and once again, Barron Trump is making headlines for his looks. Also, according to a former White House aide it gives us a hint of what to expect from Barron in the future – as Melania reportedly is ready to provide him with a more public role.
There are few, if no, children who had the childhood Barron Trump had. Growing up, he was said to have had an entire floor of the Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York, all to himself, with Melania taking care of him while Donald focused on his business.
He grew up and started school, and when his dad suddenly became president, Barron was in the middle of his last school year at the prestigious Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York City, a two-century-old, non-secular private school.

Barron became the first boy to live in the White House since JFK Jr., as Barack Obama, George Bush Jr., and Bill Clinton – the three most recent presidents – have been fathers to only girls. Other presidents since JFK have had sons, though they’ve all been adults and, therefore, not lived at the White House with their parents.
Not much is known about Barron’s teenage life. But on a few occasions, Melania has given us a glimpse of how life was for him and how she’s helped raise him.
In 2015, speaking with People, Melania explained that she is a hands-on mother who helps him with his homework. At the time, he loved science and math, and Melania often took him to after-school activities.
“He wants to be a golfer, a businessman, a pilot. It’s that age when you introduce him to stuff,” Melania Trump said.
Meanwhile, Melania has raised their son to become bilingual, and Barron has spoken Slovenian with his grandparents for years.
“My opinion is that the more languages you speak, the better it is, but when you come to America, you speak English,” she said.
In 2017, during a White House event honoring military mothers and spouses, Melania Trump opened up about her feelings about motherhood. In front of a crowd, the then-First Lady stated that mothers “should be celebrated each and every day” and went on to speak about raising her son.

“As a mother myself, I know what goes into raising a child. It takes an incredible amount of strength, a lot of time, a generous amount of patience, and all of our love. As moms, we are so incredibly privileged to be able to bring children into this world and be a part of helping them grow into adults,” Melania said.
“Because of the powerful bond between a mother and her child, when they feel emotions, so do we – whether they are happy or nervous, sad or excited, we feel those things with them,” she said. “I think it is one of the most powerful and beautiful parts of motherhood.”
Barron Trump has always been shielded from the public by his mother. At the White House – and during his childhood – she was responsible for caring for him.
During Donald Trump’s presidency, Barron wasn’t seen that often in the media; he was only occasionally spotted traveling with his parents, boarding and leaving Air Force One or his father’s helicopter.
Throughout their time in the White House, Melania made it very clear that she was keen on protecting her son from scrutiny, especially since being the president’s son can be a demanding role. That has continued today, with the Trump family living at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
The many criminal cases against Donald Trump have also affected his family. However, Melania Trump has made sure that, primarily, Barron isn’t affected by it.

Melania has not been seen at her husband’s side in the courtroom or on the campaign trail. According to a source close to the firmer first lady, that’s because she wants to shield herself and Barron.
“Melania is good at taking care of business at hand, which includes her own life, the life of her son, and the lives of her close family members,” the source told People.
“She would not stand in a circle of people she knows and openly comment on the lawsuits or the mug shot. She will have her way of dealing with this and anything else publicly when she feels like it,” the source added. “Remember, Melania is a mom with a not-yet-adult son to protect. A mug shot that everyone is talking about is just one more issue to wade through.”
“Barron has always been a first priority in [Melania’s] life. Of course, she is worried and concerned about the legal issues, but she has not done anything more to protect Barron now than she ever did. She has always put him first. She is a good mother.”
Although Melania is shielding her son, the fact that they live at Mar-a-Lago is protective enough. According to a People Magazine source, the exclusive members-only club in Palm Beach is a different world.
“They live in a fairy tale world and just deal with things as they come and seem to survive pretty well,” the source says. “They do what is possible to get past the problems without disrupting their lifestyle.”

Barron Trump being prepared for larger public role, former aide claims
Barron Trump will leave for college in the fall. Which school he will attend has yet to be decided; however, he appears to have already been handed a more significant public role within his family.
For this year’s Trump family Christmas photo, Barron Trump was posing with his father, three siblings, and other family members. It was a rare picture, especially considering Barron was in it.
According to Melania’s former senior aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Barron’s appearance is “truly monumental,” as she claims her “strategic” mom prepares him for the future.
“Melania’s decision to include Barron in this family activity, even if she couldn’t be there herself, might be a significant turning point, potentially fostering a new level of support between Melania and Donald,” she told the New York Post.
“Barron’s appearance is truly monumental and shows Donald and Melania are in lockstep with one another. I believe we will be seeing more of him now. Nothing happens by chance with Melania.”
Melania Trump has decided to start thinking about the future, especially in a future where her husband is being found guilty.
According to Page Six, Melania Trump has spent the last year re-negotiating the terms of her prenuptial agreement with Donald. Now, the source says, her new “postnup” is in place. The news outlet reports that Melania wanted the new deal because she was worried about how much money would be left for her and Barron after legal bills, damages, and possible fines were paid.
“This agreement was necessary because of the current legal battles. [Donald] has suffered,” a source told Page Six, adding that the re-negotiated prenup will “provide a more solid future” for Melania and Barron if the couple would go separate ways.
“It’s not that she threatened to leave him. It’s definitely the underlying idea.”
Donald Trump reportedly jealous of his son’s height
A person familiar with the re-negotiated prenup told Page Six that Melania wanted the deal to provide her with money and property. It included cash, where there is a “specific amount at minimum that Barron is supposed to obtain.
Moreover, another source told the news outlet, “This is at least the third time Melania has re-negotiated the terms of her martial agreement.”
When Barron Trump grew up, much of his childhood was spent with his mother. Donald Trump had his hands full with his business but always took Barron out to dinner or had some other quality time with him.
Recently, though, reports have suggested that the former president might have a feud with his son. Why? Well, apparently, he’s jealous of his son’s height.
As shown repeatedly, Donald Trump always likes to be in the spotlight, and he’s not afraid of showing it. But sadly, according to author Michael Wolff, that might have had a negative impact on his family.
In his book, Siege: Trump Under Fire, Wolff claims that Trump has a strained relationship with Barron and that he is also resentful of his height. Sadly, Wolff suggests that Donald is so insecure about Barron being taller than him that it has made him refuse to be pictured next to his son.
Appearing on The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, Wolff said Donald Trump is jealous of everyone’s height.
“He never lets himself be in a photograph with someone taller than he is. Height is one of his techniques. He uses his height — and, remember, Donald Trump is a very large man.”
While height appears to be a very sensitive subject for Donald Trump, few know how tall or short he is.
“He looks a lot like Robert Redford”
When he was arrested after arriving at the Fulton County jail in Atlanta in August last year, the measurements he gave in the booking record claimed that he was 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed 215 pounds, The Washington Post reported, as per NickiSwift. Moreover, the newspaper stated that Donald’s last White House physical listed him as being 25 pounds eavier, at 240 pounds.
Previously, Politico obtained a copy of Donald’s driver’s license, which stated he’s 6 feet 2 inches tall.
Television host and political commentator Joe Scarborough once took a dig at Donald regarding his height.
“I’ve stood next to him many times. I’m about 6′ 4″. Maybe he’s 6′ 1″, maybe he’s 6′ 1.5″, 6′ 2″. He’s a good bit shorter,” Scarborough said on Morning Joe.
“But his staff reported him at 6′ 3″ and in a fighting weight of 215. That would be like if my staff reported me: ‘Describe Mr. Scarborough’s appearance.’ ‘He looks a lot like Robert Redford in 1974.’”
