Hilaria Baldwin, Alec Baldwin’s wife, couldn’t take the strain.

Hilaria Baldwin has come forward after learning that her husband, Alec Baldwin, will face charges of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set in October 2021.

In the most recent episode of her podcast Witches Anonymous, released on Sunday, the mother of seven-spoke candidly about the support her family has received in the aftermath of the news.

“I want to express how grateful I am for your support, compassion, and reason,” she said. “It’s been a difficult time for my family.” “Sincerely, we would fail without it. As a result, I’d like to thank you for being our rock at this time when I don’t feel very strong.”

Dr. Hillary Goldsher and podcast co-host Michelle Campbell Mason then discussed “parenting through hard times and how to take care of not only your kids but yourself during them” on the program.

“Kids are sponges, and certain topics are not always age-appropriate; we cannot deny that they don’t feel the energy and pick up on certain things in the family,” Hilaria said, later adding that she wants “everything to be sunshine and rainbows all the time” for their children.

“And one of the things Dr. Goldsher mentioned that I liked was teaching children not to be afraid of emotion, pain, or going through difficult times. That is a blessing because it will teach them to be resilient and recognize that emotions are fleeting and that better times will return,” she added.

Furthermore, Hilaria emphasized the importance of “finding humanity in others and knowing that they may be going through something similar, and so being nice, patient, and good friends too as many people as we can.”

She thanked the audience once more for their “kindness and support” as she ended the audio broadcast.

According to a statement issued earlier this month by Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and special prosecutor Andrea Reeb, Alec, 64, and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will each face two counts of involuntary manslaughter. The charges will be formally filed before the end of the month.

No charges will be filed concerning the shooting that injured Rust director Joel Souza.

On Thursday, Alec’s attorney, Luke Nikas of Quinn Emanuel, said that “This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ sad death and is a horrific miscarriage of justice.”

“Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the rifle or anywhere else on the set,” Nikas continued. He believed the experts he worked with when they told him the pistol didn’t have live ammunition.

“We will fight these charges and win,” the lawyer declared.

Alec and the other Rust creators settled a wrongful death lawsuit brought by Hutchins’ widower Matthew in October. As part of the deal, the group agreed to finish the film, with Matthew serving as executive producer. Rust was supposed to restart this month.

In addition to daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, four months, Maria Lucia Victoria, two months, and Carmen Gabriela, nine, sons Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, two, Romeo Alejandro David, four, Leonardo ngel Charles, six, and Rafael Thomas, seven, were married in 2012.

Hilaria admitted to Extra in December 2022, one year after Hutchins’ on-set death while working on Rust, that she is concerned about Alec.

She went on to say that their family is still struggling in the aftermath of the October 21, 2021 tragedy, when Alec was holding a prop gun that accidentally discharged and killed 42-year-old Hutchins on the set of his Western film. Alec claims he did not fire the gun.

“I worry for him,” she said at the time, “can you imagine? Neither can they. It was difficult to make sense of what had happened.”

“When you go through anything difficult, you know not every day will be the same,” Hilaria continued.

There are times during the day when things are difficult. Nights are challenging. Dreams are difficult to achieve. “I just showed up and told them, ‘I’m here, and I’m going to take care of you,’ and I did so as soon as we found out what had happened.”
