Jeremy Renner has recently been the subject of worldwide prayers.
The adored Hollywood actor has been placed in “stable but critical” condition following a weather-related tragedy with a snow plow.
Now. He eventually broke his silence by posting a devastating image, which may indicate how close he came to death.
Jeremy Renner first appeared in the 2008 film The Hurt Locker. In my opinion, he remains one of Hollywood’s most popular and undervalued actors.
It should go without saying that he appears to be a wonderful man in real life as well.
In light of this, I was astounded when I first learned about the snow plow accident on New Year’s Day. The 51-year-old star allegedly suffered serious injuries while shoveling snow from a driveway so his family and neighbors could get to their cars.
Renner has reportedly owned a home in Washoe County, Nevada, for several years. A blizzard dumped a lot of snow in this area on New Year’s Eve.
At a press conference, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam stated, “He was being a terrific neighbor, and he was plowing those roads for his neighbor.”
Jeremy was working with his snowcat, a personal vehicle, at the time of the crash.
The actor, also known for his roles in films such as American Hustle and Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Hawk Eye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recently posted a video of himself driving a 4×4 in the snow.
The mayor of Reno, Nevada, Hillary Schieve, said that Jeremy was assisting a stranded car when the Snowcat ran on his leg, causing major blood loss.
Jeremy was with many of his family members when the tragic occurrence occurred. Neighbors reportedly assisted by providing towels and first aid while they waited for emergency personnel to arrive.
According to a spokesman, the actor suffered “blunt chest damage and orthopedic problems.” He was transported to a hospital in Nevada and underwent two procedures.
Jeremy was admitted to the intensive care unit following surgery. According to reports, he is in “stable but critical condition.”
Samantha Mast, Jeremy Renner’s spokeswoman, issued a new health update on Tuesday. Thankfully, the new knowledge helped to alleviate many people’s anxieties.
“Jeremy is making good progress and is awake, talking, and cheerful,” Mast said.
“He is still in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit. The outpouring of love and support overwhelms him. The family requests that you keep him in your thoughts as he heals with his close loved ones.”
Jeremy’s family had previously contacted out to thank the hospital staff, first responders, and everyone else who had offered their support to the famous actor.
“Jeremy’s family would like to express gratitude to the great doctors and nurses caring for him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the Carano and Murdock families,” his spokeswoman said in a statement.
“They are also overwhelmed and grateful for the outpouring of love and support from his followers.”
However, no updates have been provided by the actor himself – until now. The Hurt Locker star released a candid picture from his hospital bed in his first social media post since the accident.
“Thank you all for your warm words,” he added. I’m (sic) too messed up to type right now. But I send you all my love.”
Jeremy Renner’s sister, Kym, provided an update on his brother’s rehabilitation on Tuesday. She said, according to CBS 13 reporter Steve Large:
“We’re overjoyed with his progress. Anyone who knows Jeremy understands that he is a fighter who does not play games. He is crushing all of the progress targets. We couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead.”
Jeremy Renner, born in Modesto, California, is well-known for going out of his way to help communities and has frequently demonstrated his compassion.
The 51-year-old actor is slated to star in the four-part Disney+ series Rennervations, in which he strives to aid communities worldwide by designing customized purpose-built vehicles to match the location’s needs.
We wish Renner a healthy and speedy recovery!
