Kellie Pickler is in a “state of shock” following the unexpected death of her beloved husband, who died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

On February 17, Pickler contacted police at about 1:21 PM local time that she couldn’t find her husband, Kyle Jacobs, in their Nashville home, and her life was permanently changed.

According to a police representative, she “awoke a little while earlier, did not see her spouse, and began looking for him.”

“When she and her assistant were unable to access the door to the upstairs bedroom/office, the assistant dialed 911,” a police representative explained the location where Jacobs was eventually found.

According to RadarOnline.com, Jacobs’ death is being examined as an apparent suicide. Pickler was left reeling and perplexed by the awful news.

According to an individual close to Pickler, the My Angel singer, who rocketed to stardom on the fifth season of American Idol, is “in misery.”

“She’s dealing with many emotions and trying to figure out what happened.”

Pickler and Jacobs have built a beautiful life together, marrying in a surprise ceremony on January 1, 2011. The couple began dating in 2008 and married on June 15, 2010. On a Florida beach, Jacobs proposed to his future wife.

Many of Jacobs’ fans, friends, and loved ones are devastated by the terrible demise of one of country music’s most gifted songwriters.

Jacobs hailed a career milestone in his final Instagram post, which included a photo of Lee Brice’s Hey World earning certified platinum.

“Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! This one was put together by an incredible team of highly talented people… I am deeply honored to be a part of it… Jesus, thank you!!! “It said.

According to reliable sources, some of Pickler’s renowned friends have reached out to express their sympathies. They show their support during this challenging time, including fellow AI alums Carrie Underwood and Katharine McPhee, as well as Taylor Swift.

“They’re showing her how much they love her,” said the insider.
