Katie Smith, Morgan Wallen’s ex-fiancee, was injured in a terrible car accident and lost part of her face. Wallen and Smith had a child.
Smith, according to TMZ, shared an Instagram photo from the night crash in Nashville. Smith claimed to have been driving a totaled vehicle. She alleges a semi-truck hit her car after it ran a red light.
She made public photographs of her wounds. Her right cheek appeared to be fully swollen and bruised. She claimed that her car swerved several times.
She also mentions that she is having difficulties walking right now. It’s unclear whether the semi-driver truck was injured. Smith’s passengers appear to have just minor injuries.
Smith and Wallen had previously been married. Indigo, their two-year-old child, is their only child. Yet, they haven’t had any romantic spark in a long time.
Morgan Wallen’s ninth No. 1 single, Thought You Should Know, has become a country hit. The song reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart on Friday, February 17.
Wallen wrote Thought You Should Know as a letter to his mother, Lesli. This song reached the top spot about a month after You Evidence did.
Speaking of Indigo, or Indie, the boy had the good fortune to spend time with his adored father in a recording studio. Indie popped by on occasion while Wallen worked on his 36-track CD.
According to Wallen, the man “began coming in there and beating on guitar strings and, you know, deleting songs for Joey and stuff like that.”Yet, in all honesty, he made everyone in the room very pleased. He brought a new energy to the room we hadn’t felt before.”
Nevertheless, Wallen joined the realm of social media in December. He recorded himself singing Keith Whitley’s Kentucky Bluebird. The color blue is used throughout the song to hint at the vibe Whitley was looking for when crafting the composition.
The inclusion of Whitley’s music by Wallen should assist in raising awareness of the late country singer’s music. And Wallen has a considerable fan base that he can leverage to promote Whitley’s music. As 2022 ended, Wallen was the top country music performer.
