Nick Cannon is currently in the hospital being treated for pneumonia.
The host of “The Masked Singer,” who also has lupus, recently uploaded photos of himself on Instagram wearing a face mask, a beanie, and a robe while lying in a hospital bed.
When he discovered his error, he added in the caption, “Okay, so I guess I’m not Superman…,” “I made a promise to myself that I would never return to this spot…”
The father of 11 children, on the other hand, remarked that he has learned a “great lesson” that “you must take care of YOU or YOU will not be able to take care of everyone else.”
“Don’t trip though, I don’t need any well wishes or prayers, just some solid rest, and I will be back on the route to becoming stronger than I’ve ever been before,” Cannon implored people who supported him.
Following that, he notified his Twitter followers of the situation by posting, “It’s only pneumonia, nothing I can’t handle.”
“It’s surreal to think that only the night before we performed in front of thousands of fans at Madison Square Garden’s sold-out event, and now I’m sitting here alone in a tight hospital room.” There is no disputing that life is a wild ride! “#LupusWarrior,” he tweeted.
Cannon brought his Wild ‘N Out tour to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday.
Cannon’s hospitalization comes as he prepares to become a father for the 12th time, this time with Alyssa Scott, who will be their second child together. Zen died in December 2021, when he was only 5 months old, as a result of a brain tumor.
He also has Moroccan and Monroe twins with his ex-wife Mariah Carey; sons named Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah, as well as a daughter named Powerful Queen, with Brittany Bell; twins named Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, as well as a daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin, with Abby De La Rosa; a son named Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and a daughter named Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
Cannon previously indicated that he had “no idea” if he will have any more children.
He spoke with Tetris Kelly of Billboard News at the event Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players, and during their talk, he disclosed that he is “glad right now” about the growing number of children in his family.
When asked if there will be any more babies, Cannon replied, “Man, I don’t know.” “I’m not sure. I feel like I’m doing quite well right now!”
