According to TMZ, Lisa went into apparent cardiac arrest and her ex-husband Danny Keough performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived to take her to West Hills Hospital. Priscilla updated the situation in a statement to People during the turbulent time. “My dear Lisa Marie was taken to the hospital,” she said. “She is currently receiving the best care.”
Unfortunately, the talented performer died later that evening at 54. “It is with a sad heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement to Today.
“She was the most zealous, brave, and loving lady I’d ever met.” Following Lisa Marie’s tragic death, her family received condolence messages from industry admirers and colleagues, including former friend Leah Remini and ex-husband Nicolas Cage. Priscilla appears to be thanking the public for its support and encouraging messages.
