Stephen “tWitch” Boss committed suicide in December, just two weeks before Christmas. The father of three was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a motel room in Encino, California, not far from the home he shared with his wife, Allison Holker.
“I will always love you, my husband, best friend, babe, Chee-chalker, Superman, and father of my children!” Holker paid tribute to her late husband on Instagram.
“We will continue to spread your light and love over the globe as we will always remember you as the genuine beacon of light that you were. Thank you for our wonderful experiences and lovely shared life,” she added.
Boss was laid to rest in Los Angeles in early January during a small, private memorial service. Holker has had to adjust to life as a single mother without her best friend, as she is left to pick up the pieces after losing her soulmate.
She has also been attempting to deal with the legal ramifications of her husband’s death, leading her to work with a lawyer and file court papers regarding his estate. On February 9, an article arguing that Holker’s legal action was justified surfaced.
Allison Holker petitioned for California spousal property in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles County after Stephen “tWitch” Boss died without leaving a will. According to the study, this is considered “regular practice” in such circumstances.
Holker is seeking “confirmation of property belonging to the surviving spouse” and “determination of property transferring to the surviving spouse,” according to court documents obtained by the outlet.
Holker has been relying on her family and friends to get her through the situation while she tries to figure out the legal aspects and tie up loose ends.
“Since tWitch’s death, Allison has received an outpouring of love and support. Her family, his family, and her DWTS ‘Dancing With the Stars’ family have supported her in any way they could.
“Everyone has come together to congregate around her and her kids,” the insider continued, especially during the holiday season.
Holker and Boss began dating shortly after meeting in 2006. Before Boss’ tragic death, they had just celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary since marrying in 2013.
