Anyone who has experienced a wedding before is aware of the stress that this significant milestone in a couple’s lives can bring.
When the wedding day is over, everyone swears they would never go through it again. As the bride, you have to consider the dress, the shoes, the bridesmaids, the restaurant, and pretty much everything else that day involves.
Angie Ver Huel went above and beyond to ensure that everything about her wedding was flawless, and with her husband, they’ve surprised all of their guests.
However, everything changed the night before the wedding, when he woke up and made a life-changing discovery.
Angie worked for several years as a teacher at South Middle School in Waukee, Iowa, where she was raised. Since she was a little girl, she had imagined the day she would meet the prince from the fairy tale and begin a lovely and beautiful family with him.
When she first met Justin, who is 30 years old, she understood that this was all she needed in life. He had a wonderful job at the bank, was funny, and was intelligent.
He proposed to her in September 2013, and she accepted. Following the engagement, there was a year to plan every last aspect of the wedding. Although most of Justin’s coworkers were ecstatic to learn that he had discovered his true love, there was one who wasn’t so thrilled.
Justin and Angie were at his parents’ house on May 8, 2014, nine months after their wedding, and they were excited for the next day.
Marie Michael, Justin’s mother, was awakened in the middle of the night by a terrifying noise coming from the basement. She then heard Angie screaming in terror, the bedroom door opening, and three gunshots. She realized what had happened was horrible right away.
While resting next to his fiancée, Justin had been shot several times. And when she opened her eyes, she saw that Justin was the only person in the room, sleeping next to her.
His mother called the police right away, and they started looking into this unusual case.
Angie was first accused, but the authorities soon determined she was innocent.
The most beautiful day of their lives had turned into a nightmare since Angie had no idea who would have done such a thing, and the police were imagining all kinds of scenarios.
A vehicle was discovered abandoned next to a highway 30 minutes after shots were reported, and police drove towards it.
Angie’s ex-boyfriend David Moffitt left her via text message when she started dating Justin, and the automobile belonged to him. He was Justin’s coworker in the same department, and he was the one who was upset about his engagement to Angie.
However, the cops also discovered a shoebox with a bill in Angie’s other ex-boyfriend Andrew Wegener’s name. More proof was discovered by investigators that David may have been using Andrew’s name improperly to accuse Andrew of the horrible murder.
Angie feels glad that the guilty party has been identified when David’s sentence was handed down a year later.
