Tim McGraw is in the best shape of his life right now, and he regularly dazzles fans with the rigorous fitness routines he posts on social media.
However, country music artists have not always been at their best. He has had many surgeries throughout his life after breaking various bones in his body, which has forced him to give up some of the exercises he enjoys doing.
The star has revealed that he cannot continue jogging as part of his daily routines because he has fractured his foot three times and had knee surgery twice.
The 55-year-old man told Rob and Holly of Audacy that, in addition to two knee surgeries and three fractures in his right foot, he had elbow surgery.
“I can’t run anymore, and that’s what I miss the most,” he continued. “I used to run a lot, but now I can’t, so that activity has been eliminated from my routine.”
Tim, who had spent a significant amount of time in physical therapy, provided the following advice after completing his treatment: “You have to perform your physical therapy, and you have to listen to your doctor.”
Tim spent his childhood playing sports and was an extremely active child, but he began gaining weight 14 years ago and is now 215 pounds. After his daughter Gracie informed him that he appeared “huge on the screen” in the 2008 film Four Christmases, he realized he had no choice but to act.
He said 2019 that he had “been out of it for a spell.” “At that point in my career, I should have taken advantage of it, but I didn’t.”
Tim gave up drinking burgers and other “truck stop snacks,” and as a result, he began to pay more attention to his health. In 2019, he took his love of fitness to the next level by opening his gym in Nashville, Tennessee. TRUMAV is the name of the gym.
“I don’t get tired of training,” he continued. “Being my age and at the top of my game gives me such a sense of success,” the speaker said. “It’s incredible to think I can say that.”
