The drummer for Blink-182 damaged his finger twice in less than a month while practicing for the band’s forthcoming tour.

Travis Barker appeared to be in much discomfort the day before his operation.

On Monday, the Blink-182 frontman, 47, posted photos of his wounded finger on Instagram.

His carousel began with a medical professional attempting to reposition his finger. “Do you feel pain?” they can be heard asking Barker. “I mean, yeah, it feels painful,” he responds.

He continued with close-up shots of his finger, including one in which he is wearing a brace.

As he captioned the photo, “Surgery tomorrow,” his anguish could be lifted soon.

Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Barker’s wife, expressed her support in the comments section.

His most recent injury is the second in as many weeks.

On February 8, he tweeted, “I was playing the drums during rehearsals yesterday, and I smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments.”

On Feb. 20, he published a snapshot of his knuckle on his Instagram Stories, indicating that it was bruised and hurt “again,” according to Billboard.

Blink-182 startled fans in August when it announced its upcoming global tour, the band’s first with Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge since 2015.

The reunion tour will last nearly a year, beginning on March 11, 2023, at the Imperial GNP festival in Tijuana, Mexico, and continuing through early April, with North American shows from May through July, European shows from September through October, and a string of dates in Australia and New Zealand in February 2024.

Barker’s surgery comes after he was hospitalized last summer with “life-threatening” pancreatitis.

He announced in July that he was “currently much better” as he updated his Instagram followers.

“I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling terrific,” he said on Instagram. “But, shortly after dinner, I experienced tremendous pain and have been hospitalized ever since.

“During the endoscopy, a tiny polyp was removed in a highly delicate place, which professionals generally treat, and this tragically injured a crucial pancreatic drainage tube. This led in severe, potentially fatal pancreatitis.

“I am extremely grateful that I am now substantially better thanks to intense treatment,” Barker added.

The Poosh creator thanked God for curing her husband, their fans’ prayers, and the specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for “taking such fantastic care” of them.
