Kyle Jacobs, Kelly Pickler’s late husband, took to Instagram this week to celebrate the success of Lee Brice’s fifth album, “Hello World,” which he produced.
“Platinum?! Sweeet!!!” The songwriter captioned the post one day before his alleged suicide on Thursday, “An excellent group of extremely creative peeps put this one together.”
“I am deeply honored to be a creative part of it.”
He said, “Thank you, Jesus!!!” before thanking everyone who helped make the album famous.
Don Aaron, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, later confirmed that Jacobs died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the residence where he shared a home with Pickler. He was 49.
Pickler, 36, could not locate her spouse when she awoke on Friday.
Pickler and the assistant allegedly attempted many times to enter before phoning the police, who eventually gained entry and discovered Jacobs’ body inside.
Lee Brice, a well-known country music artist, celebrated the success of his fifth studio album, “Hello World,” on which he produced and performed guitar.
The “Red High Heels” singer has not mentioned her husband’s death. Yet, many celebrities have offered their condolences to the family via social media.
“Kellie is in my thoughts and prayers. Kyle was a brilliant artist, and you could sense their affection for one another. Kyle will be remembered via his music,” Loni Love said.
“Kyle Jacobs, rest in peace. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Kyle and Kellie Pickler’s families. Check-in on your family and friends. We never know how someone else is doing.” Stella Parton, a country singer, added the hashtag #SuicideAwareness to her tweet.
Pickler and Jacobs married in 2011 and have no children together.
The couple starred in three seasons of their CMT reality show, “I Love Kellie Pickler,” from 2015 to 2017.
Jacobs has collaborated with many celebrities, including Tim McGraw, Randy Travis, Kelly Clarkson, Scott McCreery, and George Strait.
He also helped to write Garth Brooks’ 2007 No. 1 smash “More Than A Memory.”
