Zach Roloff, star of Little People, Big World, is recovering from emergency brain surgery, according to his wife, Tori Roloff.
Tori uploaded images of her husband from his hospital bed, reportedly taken after his shunt revision treatment, detailing the scary 72 hours that had just passed.
Zach, 32, was photographed with a bandage wrapped around his head and multiple cables linked to his chest. However, he appeared in high spirits as he gave the camera a thumbs-up.
“Not exactly how we planned our week…”
‘ Tori, who had her third child with Zach last year, began in the post’s caption: “This morning, Zachary had an emergency shunt revision. It’s been a terrifying 72 hours for him, but he’s doing well and healing!!”
“Thank you so much to everyone for the prayers that have been said for us. We can sense them! We are so grateful to our neurosurgeon team for their attention to Zach’s needs!”
“Thank you to all our friends and family who have reached out to offer assistance. You make us feel so loved and supported.”
“Also, thanks to @amyjroloff for holding down the fort and playing hide and seek for who knows how many hours.”
“I’m here praying for Zach’s speedy and simple recovery and that this will be our answered prayer for relief from his migraines!”
“You’re a badass, Zach. You just had brain surgery… and you handled it like a pro. ‘I’m very proud of you.’”
Zach’s mother, Amy, addressed his health scare on Instagram, apologizing to fans for canceling her broadcast to care for her family.
“You have to rise to the occasion, and I was delighted to be able to do so for Zach and Tori,’ she explained. ‘I’m over here watching the grandkids so she can be there for Zach,” she says. Zach has been admitted to the hospital.
“He needs to get some surgery. We’re simply hoping for the best and praying for the best,” she continued.
“I would be grateful to pray for this family if you feel moved.”
“I strongly believe in the power of prayer. And the Blessed Lord responds. Nevertheless, he responds.”
Zachary, on the other hand, is on the mend.
The health issue comes just a few months after Zach and Tori delivered their third child, Josiah Luke.
The couple revealed to People in May 2022 that Josiah has dwarfism.
Zach and their other two children, Jackson, five, and Lylah, three, all have the same form of dwarfism, so the reality stars were already prepared for the news.
Josiah has achondroplasia, the most common kind of dwarfism.
Tori previously said that Josiah’s siblings were slightly fascinated with him, which is sweet.’
‘They’re both anxious about where he is and what he’s doing. They take turns feeding him the bottle and want to bring him blankies and binkies,’ she said in May 2022 to the source.
She also stated that she was probably done having children after baby number three. However, she wouldn’t rule out having more.
‘I’d never say never because I still can’t believe those first few days are over. ‘This one has been more emotional this time because I went in with the mentality that this might be our final baby,’ she explained.
Tori and Zach announced her pregnancy with Josiah eight months after she had a miscarriage.
