82-year-old Cynthia Weil has passed away.

The well-known songwriter, who co-wrote the Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’” and Dolly Parton’s “Here You Come Again” with her husband Barry Mann, passed away.

“My mother, Cynthia Weil, was the best mother, grandmother, and wife our family could have,” she said in a statement. “She was my closest confidante, my partner in crime, my idol, and a pioneer for women in music.”

Her widower, who co-wrote nearly 100 songs for superstars like Elvis Presley, Dusty Springfield, and The Drifters with his wife, described Cynthia as his “inspiration” in life and one of the “greatest songwriters” who ever lived.

“I’m a lucky man,” he said. “My wife and one of the greatest songwriters in history provided me with inspiration and my soul, so I had two for one.”

Friends of the late Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee recognized her as one of the most “iconic” songwriters of her time because of her talent for crafting heartfelt songs that “touched the hearts” of millions of fans worldwide.

According to what they said to the publication, “Cynthia Weil’s Grammy Award-winning lyrics touched the hearts and souls of hundreds of millions of people around the world, making her one of the most iconic songwriters of the 20th Century.’”

The team, who was presented with the first-ever National Academy of Songwriters Life Achievement Award, last wrote a hit song for the rock band Hanson in 1997, when they recorded the Top 10 hit single “I Will Come to You,” shortly after releasing their critically acclaimed debut album “MMMBop.”
