Amy Slaton rose to prominence in 2020 when she co-starred in “1000-lb Sisters” alongside Tammy Slaton. The TLC show chronicles the lives of two sisters as they go on weight loss journeys.

“1000-lb Sisters” also depicted Amy’s relationship with her husband, Michael Halterman. They met in high school and married in March 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Amy gave birth to her first son, Gage Deon Halterman, on November 10, 2021, through a c-section due to his breeched posture.

“For the first time, holding Gage felt unreal. My heart melted. He was flawless. His little fingers and toes,” she said on an episode of “1000-lb Sisters.”

Amy and Halterman’s second son, Glenn Allen Halterman, was born on July 5, 2022. The mother of two had another c-section with no difficulties.

“The delivery went extremely well, and now I have both of my miracle sons; our family is complete!” she said. Amy thanked her hubby for remaining by her side during her weight difficulties in February 2022.

“He adores and supports me. He doesn’t care how much I weigh or how much weight I lose. He doesn’t care,” she said. But things have taken a dramatic turn, and their marriage appears doomed.

Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman moved out of their house.

Amy Slaton appears to be over her spouse Michael Halterman. According to a source, Amy left her shared Kentucky home with Halterman and took their two children, Gage and Glenn, with her.

She is said to be living with her sister Tammy Slaton. “Amy claims Michael is a slacker who is envious of her devotion to the children. They’ve been having problems since last year,” said the insider.

Amy previously stated her dissatisfaction with filming “1000-lb Sisters” while caring for her first son, Gage and expecting Glenn. “I’ve been a cast member on the show for three years. At first, it was easy, but now that I had Gage, it’s like, he doesn’t want me out of his sight.”

“When I’m at work, I feel like a lousy mother. He’s always at Granny’s when we’re filming and whatnot,” she explained. Amy also received abuse from viewers after her house was featured on television, appearing unclean.

As of this day, neither Amy nor Halterman has commented on their marital status, although neither has filed for divorce.
