However, when she awoke one day to find herself vomiting blood, she knew something was seriously wrong. She immediately reached out to her sister, who informed the entire family.

This decision ultimately proved life-saving. Isabella was soon admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors discovered a fast-growing tumor the size of a golf ball located in the back of her brain.
Isabella underwent surgery and subsequently endured multiple rounds of radiation treatment, followed by a month of rehabilitation. Her strength and resilience were evident as she proudly shared, “I got to ring the bell yesterday. It was great. It was very exciting because it’s been a long 30 sessions, six weeks.”
Keeping the diagnosis private for two months was not an easy task for Isabella. She expressed her desire not to hide anymore and hoped to be a voice for those going through similar challenges. She wanted to inspire and encourage others who are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
