Kim Basinger, who won an Academy Award for her acting, has stated that she is unable to leave the house due to her anxiety and agoraphobia.
The 68-year-old actor, best known for roles in films such as LA Confidential, Batman, and 8 Mile, has generally stayed out of the public eye in recent years.
“I wouldn’t leave the house,” Basinger was quoted as saying in a part excerpted from an interview she conducted on Jada Pinkett Smith’s talk show Red Table Talk. The segment aired on the morning show Good Morning America in the United States. ” I’ve resolved not to go out to dinner anymore.”

“It’s terrifying to feel something as intensely as I did for so many years and not know what it was,” Basinger said. “It’s truly horrifying.”

“I had to relearn how to drive from scratch. In addition, for many years, I avoided driving through the Malibu tunnels.”

Basinger, who shares custody of her daughter Ireland with her ex-husband Alec Baldwin, went on to say that she suffered from physical ailments as well, saying, “You live with a dry mouth all the time. You are extremely unsteady. You must be completely depleted of all energy.”
