Rumors and speculations have swirled around Melania Trump’s appearance, with some even suggesting the former First Lady had a body double on election day. However, experts assert these changes are more likely due to cosmetic enhancements like Botox, fillers, and a potential nose job.

Back in 2016, Melania Trump assured GC magazine that she maintained her natural looks. “I didn’t make any changes,” the Slovenian-born model declared. “A lot of people say I am using all the procedures for my face. I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections; I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.”

Despite these claims, election day stirred the pot once again when Melania, at 54, was spotted wearing oversized sunglasses indoors—a choice that piqued public interest. Social media quickly lit up with claims that she might be hiding recent facial work or even her actual identity. This buzz led to the trending of #FakeMelania, with netizens humorously suggesting that a body double stood beside her husband at the polls.

Dr. Dennis Schimpf, a plastic surgeon from South Carolina, believes Melania probably opted for more filler work in anticipation of media scrutiny post-election. These fillers are often used by public figures aiming for a youthful appearance without extensive surgery, helping enhance cheek and jawline definition.

Dr. Thomas Barnes from Newport, California, added his viewpoint, noting that Melania “just looked plain tired.” He explained that high-stress periods, like the eventful lead-up to elections, can have visible effects on one’s appearance.

Previously, Dr. Gary Motykie, a well-known West Hollywood cosmetic surgeon, noted there isn’t substantial evidence of a facelift. Instead, he pointed to signs of a nose job and fillers, estimating a cost nearing $50,000.

“I’ve noticed her nose appears smaller and more defined, which leads me to suspect she’s undergone rhinoplasty,” Dr. Motykie stated. “Additionally, I suspect maintenance work, such as fillers in her mid-face and cheeks, maybe a hint in the lips, along with regular Botox.”

Despite her denials, some social media comments joke about Melania’s situation: “There’s no denying she’s always been a beautiful woman…but please, who is she trying to kid by saying she’s not had any work done? Own it, we wouldn’t blame you. You’ve been married to the president-elect for years!” shared one user.

Another added, “With her resources and the cultural pressure on women in America to look youthful at any age, of course, she’s had work done! Many women deny it, attributing their looks to good nutrition and skincare cream!” A third chimed in, “Regardless of any procedures, I’d still be happy waking up next to her.”

However, not everyone admires her alleged cosmetic choices. Some critiques unfold on social media, with one user saying, “She was once very attractive. Her face work is awful now. She looks like every other plastic face in America, maybe even worse.” Another remarked, “Her skin is so tightened that soon we might not be able to see her eyes, already resembling money slots.”
