Please keep Katherine Kelly Lang from “The Bold and the Beautiful” in your prayers.

Katherine Kelly Lang, an actress, is recovering from surgery after injuring herself severely while horseback riding.

In a series of Instagram videos and photos, the 60-year-old Bold and the Beautiful actress revealed that she fractured her ankle and foot on Mother’s Day.

Lang shared a video of herself and others riding horses on a mountain trail on Monday. “I hope everyone had a lovely Mother’s Day. Describe your Mother’s Day plans. I went on a lovely ride with friends yesterday.”

She stated that she planned to ride for 40 miles to train for a 50-mile horse race scheduled for next month.

“It was a beautiful day!” At about 16 kilometers, I dismounted to walk a steep, rocky terrain to give my horse a rest. “I fell at the trail’s base, and my left foot took the brunt of the blow.” The images on the carousel showed her sleeping in a hospital bed with tubes, sitting on a gurney surrounded by medical personnel, and having her foot supported up in a cast while there. Lang composed music to accompany the carousel.

“My foot and ankle dislocated at a 90-degree angle to my leg, off to the left,” Lang continues. I pushed it back into place. I had to do it even though it was revolting.”

She claimed that as a spectator, she received a request for help with her horse and spirits.

“The ambulance transported me to the hospital, and the x-rays revealed three shattered bones in my ankle,” the actress wrote. “That evening, I had surgery, and my ankle now has rods, pins, and screws. No weight bearing on my foot for six weeks.”

She said she intended to “go to work later this week and try to heal quickly so I can do all the things I love to do,” despite her injuries.

“I’m still in the hospital today, but I’m trying to grin,” Lang said, remaining upbeat. I’m not happy when things slow me down like this. There is always something new to learn. I’m not sure what that lesson is yet, but I’ll think about it.”

“Her Bold and the Beautiful co-stars expressed well wishes in the comment section “Sis!” said Jennifer Gareis. Rest up so you can recover quickly! “I’m sending!” Lawrence Saint-Victor was also present. “I sincerely apologize!!! Get better soon.”

Krista Allen also commented, “Wow, those photos! Ouch!!! Send me a text if you need anything; I’m close to the studio. But, may I add… Despite a swollen foot and a broken ankle, your pedicure looks fantastic, darling.”
