Priscilla Presley has been grieving her daughter’s death, Lisa Marie Presley, since January 12. “Thank you all for your sympathies, your words have impacted me,” she tweeted. “It’s been tough, but knowing your love is out there helps.”
On January 22, the actor spoke at Lisa Marie’s memorial service. She began with an emotional message from Riley Keough and then recited a poem she felt exemplified how the family feels about the late singer. “Our hearts are broken,” Priscilla concluded her message. “We all love you, Lisa.”
On the other hand, Priscilla hasn’t let her daughter’s death stop her from working on new projects.
On March 1, it was announced that the actress would play herself in the animated Netflix series “Agent Elvis,” in which the King of Rock becomes a secret spy. Priscilla is also the show’s co-creator, and she recently promoted it on the red carpet.
Priscilla Presley is on the red carpet again for the launch of her new Netflix series “Agent Elvis.” This is the actor’s first red carpet-appearance after the death of Lisa Marie Presley.
She also took part in a Q&A session. Priscilla remarked that this series is a way for Elvis Presley’s legacy to go on, hoping to teach future generations why he and his music were so influential.
Priscilla last appeared on the red carpet at the 2023 Golden Globes alongside Austin Butler and the cast of Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis” film. Lisa Marie attended the award event with her mother just days before her death.
Amid the premieres of “Agent Elvis” and “Daisy Jones & The Six,” Priscilla is battling her granddaughter, Riley Keough, over Elvis’ Graceland house.
Riley and the late Benjamin Keough were named co-trustees of Lisa Marie’s estate mansion, but Priscilla is contesting their appointment. “Riley and Priscilla aren’t conversing at this moment but have been in communication through lawyers,” a source declared.
