Riley after her mother’s passing

Lisa Marie Presley died unexpectedly in January, and her loved ones shared many heartwarming memories with the public. She was described as “the most passionate, strong, and loving lady I have ever known” by her mother, Priscilla Presley.

“Nothing prepared us for such an unexpected catastrophe,” her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, said. Lockwood, who has twin daughters with the “Lights Out” singer Harper and Finley, added, “We are all reeling.”

Riley Keough, Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter with her first husband Danny Keough, delivered an emotional eulogy at her mother’s burial service after posting the final photo she ever took with her mother on social media.

Riley’s spouse, Ben Smith-Peterson, read Riley’s eulogy, which concluded with the words, “Thank you for being my mother in this life. I’m confident that I chose the best mother-child match possible for you, and I’ve known that for as long as I can remember.”

The actress even mentioned her newborn daughter in the eulogy, saying, “I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me.” Riley’s affection for her mother has been well-documented over the years.

She expressed her inspiration for being “raised by somebody who did their own thing and didn’t care what other people thought.”

It’s heartwarming to see the “Daisy Jones & The Six” star beaming on social media after her family’s recent tragedy.

Riley Keough made her TikTok debut on February 15th, with an upbeat and healthy Riley. Daisy Jones, co-star of “Daisy Jones & The Six,” and Sam Claflin fell over each other as they said, “Hi, TikTok,” before laughing again.

Keough plays the title character in the upcoming Amazon Prime miniseries based on the same-titled Taylor Jenkins Reid novel. The executive producer is Reese Witherspoon.

The fictional miniseries will follow the exploits of the band of the same name as they navigate the 1970s Los Angeles music scene in search of international fame.

Keough has a lot to be happy about in her personal life. As first announced in her eulogy at her mother, Lisa Marie Presley’s memorial, the actress and her husband, Ben Smith-Peterson, had a daughter sometime in 2022.

Keough and Smith-Peterson unexpectedly married in Nepal eight years ago, according to Smith-Peterson in a touching 2021 Instagram post. Locals discovered the couple were engaged while building schools in the area as part of a goodwill mission and surprised them with a Hindu wedding.

“We hadn’t showered in a week because it was too cold to shower,” Keough joked, adding, “I promised to spend 7 lifetimes with you… I’m not sure; let’s see how this one turns out.”
