Salma Hayek, the 56-year-old Hollywood actress, proves that celebrities are just like us. After the 2023 Oscars, Salma shared an honest video that showcased her post-awards routine, something we can all relate to.
In a tweet, following her return from the glamorous event, Salma posted a video of herself eating. Hungry and eager to satisfy her appetite, she rushed to the kitchen, still wearing her stunning red sequin gown with the back unzipped.
With a sandwich in her mouth, Salma turned around while an off-screen voice exclaimed, “Expectation vs. Reality.” The video captured a delightful moment that showcased Salma’s down-to-earth side while keeping the glamour alive.
“Glad to keep the glamour going, but first things first,” Salma captioned the adorable video, drawing a flood of responses from her devoted followers. Her honesty and attractiveness were praised by fans, with one even noting, “Even her back is gorgeous.”
The video also caught the attention of other celebrities, including her co-star Antonio Banderas, who expressed his amusement with a series of cry-laughing emojis.
Prior to filming the kitchen video, Salma had just attended the Academy Awards, an event that held special meaning for her. Making a rare public appearance, her 15-year-old daughter Valentina accompanied her to the awards.
Donning her mother’s 1997 dress, Valentina looked stunning alongside Salma, both dressed in red. Their presence together added a special touch to the evening.
Salma has always been open about sharing snippets of her daily life, showcasing her outgoing demeanor. In a recent video, she can be seen wearing a golden beauty mask while enjoying a bowl of chicken soup.
“This is my first time with a golden mask, and also my first time with the golden mask while eating room service,” Salma says as she pours soup into the camera. “I’m sorry, but the food is more important than beauty.”
