According to recent reports, Patrick Stone, Sharon Stone’s younger brother, died at the age of 57, two years after the death of his son, River.
The Hollywood star’s sibling succumbed to heart disease and died shortly after. The local coroner’s office is investigating his death as “sudden cardiac death.”
According to the publication, Patrick’s wife, Tasha, issued a statement informing the public of the tragic news. “My chest is aching, and it feels like someone has yanked my heart out of it. Patrick left this world to be with our beloved River… He was my entire world, and I’m not sure what else to say about him,” she says.
“I have no idea what my life will be like without my spouse by my side, and to be honest, I don’t want to find out. Regardless, I’m going to find out. I only wish to express my hope that you will never leave my side and will keep a close eye on Hunter, Kaylee, and myself.”
“I will always keep you and all of our amazing (and some not so wonderful, but equally important) memories close to my heart, and I will always visit those memories,” she continued.
“I will return to those memories until the day we meet again. Sweetheart, I adore you. I adore you. I hope that, despite everything, River can spend some quality time with his father, River, and that the two of you have a wonderful time.”
River, the couple’s young son, died when he was only 11 months old in the year 2021.
Sharon announced this in the form of an Instagram post at the time. She then captioned the video, “River William Stone September 8, 2020 – August 30, 2021,” which was accompanied by a lovely video of River having fun in his crib.
The devastating video was created by Sharon, who also has two other siblings named Michael and Kelly.
The heartbreaking news of Patrick’s death comes just days after Sharon provided an update on the condition of her mother, Dorothy Stone, who was 90 years old and is now 16 months post-stroke.
