Unfortunately, about one in five couples have fertility problems and it is more difficult for them to have a child. For these couples, time passes to their detriment, and this is a very stressful and tiring reason why they must have patience and faith.
Desiree and Ryan Fortin faced these problems and had to struggle for many years to start a family. In the end, they chose in vitro fertilization. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for Desiree to become pregnant.
Desiree and Ryan Fortin were married in 2009 and were looking forward to having a baby, but doctors diagnosed Desiree with polycystic ovarian syndrome, hypothyroidism, and low progesterone. For this reason, they have resorted to in-vitro fertilization.
Desiree said that those years were the most difficult in her life and she always felt physically and mentally exhausted, but she always chose to be optimistic and move forward. Fortunately, their patience was rewarded and they would eventually become parents.
When they went for the first ultrasound, they were amazed to learn that they would have triplets. From infertility to 3 children! They didn’t know what to say.
Unfortunately, the doctors told Desiree that she would not be able to hold her pregnancy until the end because she was very thin and short, but she would not give up because she had always wanted to have children.
The triplets were born in 2015, at 34 weeks and one day, C-section. Parents were extremely happy to see their children for the first time and named them Sawyer, Jack, and Charlize. Ryan stayed with the children until Desiree recovered and was able to go and take care of the children.
Unfortunately, Desiree had some complications and had to be operated on, which is why she could not see her children immediately, but her husband always told her how they were doing, how they were feeling and making sure everything was fine.
The two are very happy, but they are aware that it will be difficult for them to be parents for 3 babies but they are ready to do everything they can to make everything wonderful and to give their children everything they can. They want every child to be happy and to feel wanted and loved. The triplets are now 4 years old and are very happy with their parents who love them more than anything.
