Today’s broadcaster Al Roker announced that he will leave his “happy home.”
The 68-year-old meteorologist has been on holiday with his family in Puerto Rico for the past week, but their visit has ended.
Al, Deborah Roberts, and their son Nick stay at a luxurious resort.
The trio has been staying at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve on the coast, for the past few days.
After soaking up the rays and sipping cocktails by the pool, Al confessed on Friday that it was time for them to return to New York.
He also shared more photographs from their trip, including one of the stunning resort pools surrounded by palm trees.
Some had the pool, while others had the Today host and his family posing in their swimwear near it.
“Very hard to leave @doradobeachreserv,” he captioned the photo.
Al said it’s now his “favorite #happyplace” due to GM Ana Henriques and her amazing crew. Gracias.”
“Re-entry to reality is hard!” one fan wrote in the comments. Nevertheless, it appears that you had a great time!”
Another person said, “Lovely!! “I’m delighted you had a pleasant vacation to recharge.”
“Such a wonderful family!” wrote a third. Have a safe journey home!”
Deborah took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo of herself and her other half, Al, enjoying their family holiday, which follows his miraculous recovery from blood clots.
The 62-year-old uploaded a snapshot of the two posing side by side in what seemed to be their resort’s foyer.
The weatherman and Deborah were photographed together, their arms around each other’s waists, with several palm trees in the shade behind them.
The 68-year-old and his journalist wife have dressed appropriately for the warm weather.
Al wore dark grey camouflage swim trunks, a light grey graphic T-shirt, black sneakers, and a baseball cap.
On the other hand, Deborah was dressed in a black sheer swimsuit cover-up that ended at her knee over a spaghetti-strapped black and white striped one-piece bathing suit, flip flops, and a baseball cap.
Deborah captioned the snapshot of the loving couple: “Moments of magic with my miracle man. #thursday #thanks.”
